Living Earth Foundation
Living Earth places particular importance on encouraging governments, corporations non-governmental groups and communities to work and learn together. We promote partnerships characterised by open dialogue, cooperation and consensus-building. In this way we support people in developing effective solutions to their own problems which may be related to local, regional, national and even international issues. Living Earth Foundation now runs programmes in over eleven countries, from Venezuela to Ghana and Alaska (USA) to Sakhalin (Russia). The UK-based organisation facilitates a growing network of Living Earth organisations around the world that work together in a co-operative and supportive manner in order to maximise collective impact. Living Earth Foundation was established as a UK charity in 1988, at that stage focussing on environmental education in Britain. Over the following 20 years Living Earth has expanded its geographical and thematic focus and has established a unique portfolio of projects across the world. This work has set new standards in education, environment and community development.
